Offshore Snapper, Cobia, Amberjack

Offshore trips leave the dock at 5:30 and return to the dock aroung 5:00 in the afternoon.  Typical trips consists of limits of Red Snapper and a mixed bag of Mangrove Snapper, Amberjack, Almaco Jack, Trigger, and Lemonfish (cobia,ling).   Great days could be in the 800 lb total catch range and average days hover around 400 lbs.  Fish cleaning is available at the dock for $.35 a lb.

Day Charters

Day charters are the ideal way to experience a great fishing experience along the Louisiana Coast. These trips start at safe light and usually last for 8-hrs.  We can accommodate up to four anglers per boat including children.  All rod and reels are supplied along with all tackle and artificial lures.

  •  $250 deposit for new customers required to reserve boat(s). $150 for existing customers.  Two week cancellation notice required for deposit return. Stringer Fishing Charters reserves the right to cancel/postpone all trips due to weather and other situations beyond their control.

An authorization number for immediate use will be provided and licenses will be mailed to the licensee. A $3.00 convenience fee is assessed.
